Nightwish's Nemo on TV

About two months ago in Central Market, I asked about Nightwish's CDs from stores, and it was so insulting that some of them had no idea about this Finnish gothic band. I have been listening to Nightwish for 3 years or so (it is one of my favorite bands), not many people around me know about them except those who dig metal music or gothic stuffs (Anne, Rachel, Sue Jing, etc).

    Anyway, just a few minutes ago my sister turned on the television and it was playing a familiar tune and someone was singing..

"Oh how I wish, for soothing rain
All I wish is to dream again..
My loving heart , lost in the dark
For hope I'd give my everything.." 

    NEMO!

    Ok, I might just sound dumb right here for being surprised, as I really do not know when it's started playing on the television (and I seldom watch MTV). I am sure alot of people will be digging and talking about Nightwish pretty soon (it is a mainstream band anyway, just too late to get into Malaysia)..

    I gotta agree with alot of people that Google indeed needs to add in the support of Calendar, Categorization and Recent Comments. But do not forget that, we can always do hacking to add or enhance these features. "Hack, is a clever solution to an interesting problem."

Moronic Telekom Helpdesk Staff

I complaint about the performance of my Internet connection yesterday to TMnet Streamyx Hotline, I also told them that I am right now paying RM 88 ringgit for the RM 66 ringgit package, I need it to be fixed and I want to refund.

So, few minutes ago someone rang my phone,

Yuenqi: Weeeei? (Chinese way of saying 'ello)
Someone: Hello, ini Telekom.
Yuenqi: Oh, hi.
Someone: Itu telefon line okay ar?
Yuenqi: So you're from Telekom.. 're you trying to fix my Streamyx connection problem that I reported?
Someone: *blah blah blah* (No idea what the hell she was saying) Ada orang datang ke?
Yuenqi: Uh, you mean someone should have come over to fix my problem?
Someone: Ah okay.

*Duuuuuut* (Hung)

For Gawd's sake 'kay, I am not good in Bahasa Melayu at all, and I think  customer service should be using English as it is more generally spoken. I think she has missed out few important things,

• Her name
• Language options
• "Good bye"

I am on the phone again, to give a feedback to the service I received from them. Try dialing 100, I think I am lost in the mace.

Spaceman

    Heard it on my way from 1 Utama to Kelana Jaya, a pretty old song, I know. It's not too bad to listen to pop/light-and-easy stuffs once in a while, besides, I have been listening to "Hate Me!" just too many times in a day,

I despise everything I see so.. I don't give a *love*, if ya hate me!"

     Anyway, woke up very early in the morning (Tuesday), around six, spent my time to design my blog's layout (If you remember, two blogs). Went out around 10.30am with parents to Petaling Street, took bus from Kota Raya to 1 Utama to meet Anne and her boyfriend Daryl. Bought a hot-dog pilow (bolster) for Esther, it's her Birthday today (Wednesday).

    Had meeting with Dion and Whei Meng after that, discussed about our UltraUnix's plans in this year. I know that I have been slacking too much, pretty irresponsible being the webmaster of the company. Hope we will have a good start in year 2006 anyway.

    Went for badminton with Whei Meng after that, Wei Liang and Wee Hong were there too. I didn't play with them (I'm a geek), instead, Wi-Fi worked there and I was chatting and surfing.

    I returned home around 7pm, first thing to do was to check the news of Ferrari's Project 657,

    The car is named as 248 F1, not as what people expected (F2006).

    Had dinner (Pun Choi, 盆菜) at Six Happiness with my family and Kee's family, it was great. Back home around 9.30pm, chatted a while online, felt too dizzy and sleepy..

    I called it a day anyway, a busy one, went to my bed at 11pm.

Redesign Megadeth!

DeviantART launches a mega design contest for one of the greatest Metal bands -- Megadeth. The judge will be the founder and front-man of the band -- Dave Mustaine.

    And damn it, the prizes are ESP guitars! (Oh my Gawd, I want ESP/LTD!), the Axxion Signature Series:

Bulls and Bulldogs

Went Petaling Jaya (PJ) around 1pm, stepped down from the van, waved my hand to the driver (well, I was fetched by these two young men, they're the renovation workers) and walked my way to mom's new house.

    So.. on my way, I remember something that I heard last time,there are some bulls and bulldogs in certain areas of PJ, okay, didn't bother to give a damn until I saw two brown and ugly faces with fierce gnashing teeth from the mouth at the left side of the road, I knew something was about to happen. So I bobbed my head and saw a large herd of bulls and bulldogs walking toward the opposite direction of mine on both sides of the road.

    I had this thought in mind to not looking at them and have to speed up without running so that I would not catch their attention. With terrifically bad stroke of luck, two calves were heading to me.. The bulldogs were lazy to bother to chase me, so what was wrong with these two little stupid bulls? Hasted myself, I was able to make one of them to give up, as for another one, I knocked it down by giving a kick on one of its horns.

    I thought I was out of trouble (still under threats though) until I heard sound of another's coming footstep, I made a peek by turning back, reached a junction, took the left path, closed my eyes and started running..

    I opened my eyes once again, it was 1.50pm.. back to reality.

    Pants!

What was I doing 10 years back?

10 years ago, I was 13 year-old. In the December of year 1995, I went for my first-ever National Baptist Youth Camp, it was held at Peace Heaven, Genting Highlands. 13 year-old was the year I entered secondary school (Chonghwa Independent High School), it was a great start, generally, like everyone did: built the spirit of rebelliousness, learnt about boy-girl relationship, masturbation and more dirty jokes, etc.

But what I remember the most in that year (1996) was blowing up the Kemahiran Hidup (KH, in English: Life Science/Home Economics) lab. I can't really tell the date, anyway.. we had a lesson to disassemble/assemble the components of a plug. Due to the school's immature negligence and recklessness (it was a new building), I was able to plug it into a working socket. I rubbed the endpoint of the wire on my metal pencil box and played around with the electrical test pen, sheerly stupid, and the cause of it, was a complete shut-down of the school's electricity. Thanks God, I was not dead.

What was I doing 1 year back?

1 year ago? Joined University of Nottingham in Malaysia (UNiM) with Jameel, met Gunawan, Hendra, Lucky, Ivy, Nazima, and Mi Jian. Very few students for Februrary intake and two of us quit in the middle of semester. And I, prefer UNiM's teaching methods to the one in Taylor's college.
